Delhi model commits suicide; husband arrested

New Delhi, March 27: Priyanka Kapoor Chawla, a 25-year-old model was found dead in mysterious circumstances at her residence in South Delhi's Defence Colony area, on Sunday, March 27.

According to reports, Priyanka was a victim of domestic violence and abuse by her husband. She got married in January this year.

Priyanka allegedly hanged herself on Thursday and her death came to light on Friday, when her maid found her room locked.

Priyanka's family also made her calls that went unanswerable. Then, the police was informed, who broke open the door and found Priyanka hanging from the ceiling fan of her room.

A suicide note was also found from near her body that said her marriage was the biggest mistake of her life.

Following the shocking suicide note details, the police arrested her husband. Priyanka's family also alleged that their daughter was murdered as her body had some injury marks.

Priyanka's wrist was also slit, but the wound was not too deep to cause death.
