Delhi: Missing Man Found Dead; Woman Among Three Arrested in Connection

New Delhi, Apr 1 - In a shocking incident that has come to light from Baljeet Nagar, New Delhi, a 35-year-old man, Madhav Singh, who mysteriously disappeared last week, was found dead. The Delhi Police have unravelled the case, revealing a sinister plot behind Singh's demise. According to the authorities, Singh was allegedly murdered by a couple with whom he was involved in an extramarital affair. The police have taken swift action, arresting the woman involved and her two associates as they delve deeper into the investigation.

Madhav Singh, hailing from Gulshan Chowk in Anand Parbat, was employed as a labourer in a local factory. His disappearance raised alarms when a missing person complaint was filed on March 27 at the Anand Parbat police station by one of his relatives. Deputy Commissioner of Police Central M Harsha Vardhan disclosed that an analysis of Singh's phone records led them to a woman named Jyoti, who had summoned him to her residence in Punjabi Basti, Baljeet Nagar.

The subsequent investigation pointed towards Jyoti and her husband's involvement in Singh's disappearance. A visit to Jyoti's residence revealed a locked house with disarrayed items and led to the grim discovery of Singh's body buried in a sewage pit on the premises. Jyoti and her husband Lekhpal were arrested on Sunday following these findings.

During interrogation, the couple confessed to having an illicit relationship with Singh. They implicated Surjit, another resident of Baljeet Nagar, in the crime. Surjit, known to have a history of criminal activities including theft and assault, was also arrested in connection with Singh's murder. The accused narrated how they lured Singh to their house on March 25 and, with Surjit's assistance, fatally assaulted him before disposing of his body.

This tragic incident has cast a spotlight on the darker aspects of personal relationships and the lengths to which individuals might go when entangled in affairs of the heart. The police are continuing their investigation to ensure justice for Madhav Singh.
