Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma Gives A Nod To Clear Encroachment In NDMC

Delhi PwD Minister Parvesh Verma chaired NDMC Council's meeting with officials on Tuesday. Several key issues of Delhi were discussed during this meeting including buying affordable electricity and plans to tackle encroachments for cleaner roads in NDMC areas.

After the meeting Parvesh Verma told media that in next 6 to 8 months, 9,000 new water connections will be installed, benefiting approximately 4,700 residents of Delhi. This initiative aims to improve living conditions significantly for those affected by water shortages.

He further added that "options to buy cheap electricity are being considered... Encroachment drive will be carried out to ensure clean roads in NDMC... NDMC area will be equipped with CCTV cameras".

CCTV cameras will be installed across various locations to ensure better security for residents and visitors alike.
