Delhi: False News Of Fire At AIIMS Creates Panic; Fire Fighters Confirm It Was A Hoax Call
False news of fire in the surgery block of Delhi AIIMS created panic on Tuesday late evening. According to the reports, the fire department and police received a hoax call about the fire incident, after which, 7 fire tenders reached AIIMS.
However, it was discovered that there was no fire at the hospital and the information was false.
Talking to the media, Delhi Fire Services (DFS) chief Atul Garg said that the emergency helpline received a call from an unidentified person, who informed about a fire at the surgery block. Reacting swiftly to the information, firefighters reached AIIMS hospital, where they found that the information was wrong and everything was normal at the hospital.
