Delhi Tragedy: Young Man Found Dead, Police Suspect Suicide
In a tragic incident in New Delhi's Maidan Garhi area, a 23-year-old man, identified as Pankaj Singh Negi, was found dead under mysterious circumstances outside his friend's house. The Delhi Police are investigating the case, with initial suspicions pointing towards a possible jump from the terrace. The distressing event unfolded on the night of March 25, sparking concerns and allegations of foul play from the victim's family.

According to official reports from the police, Negi, a resident of Chirag Delhi, visited his friend's residence in an intoxicated state on Monday. An intense argument ensued between Negi and his friend, after which he allegedly left for the terrace of the building. Subsequently, he was discovered unconscious outside the premises. A PCR call logged at 10 pm on March 25 alerted the authorities to a person lying unresponsive in Rajpur Khurd extension, leading to immediate police intervention.
Investigation Underway
The police swiftly transported Negi to a hospital where he was declared dead upon arrival. Negi, who was employed at a bar in Greater Kailash Part II, is suspected by the police to have jumped from the terrace based on preliminary findings. However, this theory is complicated by the victim's family's insistence on potential foul play involved in his demise. In response to these concerns, law enforcement officials have launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
As part of their investigative efforts, authorities have conducted a post-mortem examination of Negi's body, which has since been returned to his grieving family. Additionally, statements from Negi's friend and other potential witnesses are being meticulously recorded to piece together the events leading up to this unfortunate incident.
The ongoing probe seeks to clarify the circumstances surrounding Negi's death and address the troubling allegations raised by his family. As details continue to emerge, the community awaits answers in this perplexing case that has shaken the Maidan Garhi area.
