Three Men Rob Jewellery Shop and Snatch Motorcycle in Delhi
Three men allegedly robbed a jewellery shop and while fleeing, two of them snatched the motorcycle of a passerby. One of the accused has been identified as Faizan, who was recently released on bail after facing three criminal cases.
In a daring incident that unfolded in the capital city of India, three men allegedly robbed a jewellery shop and while fleeing, two of them snatched the motorcycle of an unsuspecting passerby. The event took place in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred at Prem Vihar in Karawal Nagar where the three men targeted Jai Durga Jewellers for their heinous act. The owner of the shop informed police that several customers were present when these armed robbers, all wearing helmets to conceal their identities, stormed into his establishment. They seized the jewellery laid out on the counter under threat from their firearms.
Attempted Escape and Capture
As they attempted to make their escape, one among them was apprehended by quick-thinking staff members who also managed to seize his pistol. However, his accomplices succeeded in making it out of the shop but were unable to retrieve their motorcycles which they had presumably used as getaway vehicles. In a desperate move, they held up another motorcyclist at gunpoint and made off with his vehicle instead.
The Arrested Accused
The robber who was captured by the store’s staff has been identified as Faizan (26), a resident of Nand Nagari. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Faizan was already facing three criminal cases and had only recently been released from jail on bail. A pistol along with four live cartridges were recovered from him following his capture.
Investigation Underway
In addition to this evidence, police have also confiscated two motorcycles abandoned by these criminals during their botched escape attempt. Faizan is currently being interrogated for more information regarding this crime and efforts are underway to track down and apprehend his two accomplices. Special teams have been formed by the police department for this purpose.
In conclusion, this incident of robbery at a jewellery shop in Delhi has brought to light the audacity of criminals who are willing to commit such acts in broad daylight. The quick response from the store staff led to the capture of one criminal and recovery of significant evidence which will aid in further investigations. However, it also underscores the need for increased vigilance among citizens and more proactive measures from law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety.
