Delhi girl rewarded by police for bravery

Bharati Kumari, also a national level wushu player, strongly resisted the harassment by the man, later identified as 28-year-old Rajesh Gupta, while she was returning home in Burari area of north Delhi Oct 30.
"The girl hit him back and using her training in martial arts, overpowered him. She then called her trainer Amit Goswami and with his help, she handed over Rajesh Gupta to police," a police officer said.
Bassi rewarded the courageous girl with a commendation and a cash reward of Rs 10,000.
