Delhi Gangrape: How Indians react over death sentence to rapists

The 23-year-old victim, who was given a name "Nirbhaya", may finally rest in peace! In a crisp 5 minutes sentencing, the Delhi court has ordered death sentence to all the four convicts.
Father of the victim thanked the police while saying, "I am very happy, I thank everyone, the public and the media."
The court room was applauded soon after the announcement of the judge. The prosecution lawyer was quoted as saying, "Today after so long we have got the judgement, it is victory for all. The family and those who have been protesting across Delhi."
"The judiciary of the country has been upheld. We thank the media and the people of the country for their support," he added.
However, the defence lawyer AP Singh shocked the nation stating that the judge was under pressure from political parties.
Meanwhile, Indians turned up to micro-blogging site Twitter giving their reactions over the judgement of death sentence to all four rapists -- Akshay Thakur, Mukesh Singh, Vinay Sharma and Pawan Gupta.
