Delhi fog woes: 25 trains delayed, 18 cancelled

As many as 25 trains are running late and 18 were cancelled due to fog and poor visibility in Delhi and other parts of North India on Wednesday. 3 trains were rescheduled due to fog.

According to Skymet weather, cold day conditions are presently prevailing over the national capital. These conditions are declared when the day temperatures are either 16˚C or below.

On Tuesday, as many as 10 trains were cancelled, 22 delayed and three rescheduled due to low visibility caused by the persisting cold wave here.

Several parts of North India, including Delhi and the adjoining National Capital Region, have been witnessing a dense fog and fall in temperature, affecting the normal life besides rail and road traffic.
