Delhi election: Now check your names in voters' list through android app
New Delhi, Jan 12: Delhiites can now check their names in the voters' list and also know the polling officer of their area through their smartphone with the election office here launching an android app - 'Delhi Election'.
"People can find out their names in electoral roll by downloading 'Delhi Election' aap in their smartphones. Besides, they can also check application status and their constituency through this android app launched recently," said a senior official. He said that apart from that, people can also know their election officer and booth-level officer (BLO) of their area through this app.

"As most people use smartphones, this app will prove very useful for them and they can get any public information pertaining to the upcoming Assembly elections on their phones," the official said. The State Election Commission also recently launched an SMS service facility through which people can know if their names are registered in the electoral roll. As a part of the facility, one has to message EPICVoter ID card no to 7738299899 or 1950.
People can also check their names in the voters' list on the link www.ceodelhi.gov.in. People can also call 1950 to check whether their names are in the voter' list or not. According to the Commission, the young voters' population stands at 1.31 per cent of the total electors in the national capital.
