Delhi Police Investigates Dowry Death After Woman and Brother Fatally Stabbed

According to police reports, Pal attacked his wife and brother-in-law with a screwdriver while they were asleep and subsequently fled the scene.

However, in a turn of events, Pal returned to his residence where he was detained by law enforcement officers conducting the investigation. Family members of Kamlesh, who traveled from Mathura following the tragedy, have accused Pal and his parents of demanding dowry. Contrastingly, Pal's family has claimed that he was suffering from mental health issues and had received medical treatment, though they failed to provide any medical documentation to support their claims. Pal is an engineer by profession but was unemployed at the time of the incident. His father is a retired Indian Air Force personnel, and his mother is employed in Delhi's power department. Pal's younger brother resides on the first floor of the same building with his family.
