Delhi: Crime sees four-fold rise in six years
Compared to 2015, the rise in number of cases in 2016 was around 10 percent.
New Delhi, Feb 13: Crime in the national capital has seen a four-fold rise between 2010 and 2016, data furnished by Delhi Police shows.

As per the FIRs registered by Delhi Police, in 2010, a total of 51,292 cases were registered, while in 2016, the figure went up to 2,09,519.
In 2015, a total of 1,91,377 FIRs under the Indian Penal Code were registered.
Compared to 2015, the rise in number of cases in 2016 was around 10 percent.
The data was released by Delhi Police in its annual report on Monday.
