Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Says Got Offer From BJP, Will Never Join

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday once again slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for continuously trying to poach his party MLAs and making every possible effort to unstable his government in the national capital. While inaugurating a building of a school in Delhi's Rohini, Arvind Kejriwal said that they are asking us to join BJP, and then they will not trouble us.

"They can do whatever they want. Nothing will happen. I am not going to bow down to them. They say 'come to BJP, we won't trouble you'. No, not at all, I won't join them. And what crime have we done that they need to pardon us?" Delhi Chief Minister said.

"We have been working to improve schools, hospitals, clinics, roads... What's wrong in that?" CM Kejriwal added.

A day ago, a team of Delhi Police's Crime Branch wing served notice to CM Kejriwal and Delhi Minister Atishi to join the investigation of alleged MLAs poaching casing.

According to the notice served to CM Kejriwal on Saturday, the Delhi police has asked the AAP chief to reply within three days. Earlier on January 27, Arvind Kejriwal had alleged that BJP has been trying to poach his seven MLAs.

During a presser, CM Kejriwal and Minister Atishi had claimed that the BJP offered Rs 25 crore each and promised a ticket for the next assembly election.

However, the claim was denied by the saffron wing and they requested the Delhi Police Commissioner to look into the matter, after which, a probe was initiated.
