Clashes were reported at the North Campus of the Delhi University. The two groups have clashed several times in the past. In October, members of the ABVP and the AISA clashed with each other during a public meeting at the Delhi University. Both groups had pelted stones at each other.
Similar clashes had been witnessed in March after the AISA allegedly ridiculed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in a street play. The AISA had organised a play and it was alleged that they have mocked the RSS. There was sloganeering at first, following which the two groups clashed at the Delhi University.
