The Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 concluded on February 5, with the results eagerly awaited on February 8. Sanjeev Jha has been a dominant figure in Burari, winning as MLA three times consecutively since 2013. His assets are valued at over ₹14 lakh, and he holds a BA (Hons) degree. Shailendra Kumar from JDU possesses assets worth more than ₹23 crore with liabilities exceeding ₹8 lakh and holds a BA (Pass) degree. Mangesh Tyagi of Congress has assets valued at over ₹7 crore and liabilities amounting to ₹12 lakh; he has completed his education up to the 12th grade.

The Delhi Assembly comprises 70 seats, with a majority requiring at least 36 seats. This election saw participation from 699 candidates across various constituencies. There were 13,766 polling stations set up for the voters, who numbered approximately 1.56 crore. The overall voting percentage for this election stood at 60.44%, reflecting active public engagement.
