Delhi: BJP releases 70 AAP style manifestos for each constituency

in filing individual manifestos,

too has released separate manifestos for its 70 constituencies. Moreover, the party released its first local poll charter for Model town.

BJP leader Vijay Goel said,"the main manifesto cannot talk about local problems. It will focus only on larger issues." Ashok Goel, for instance, said,"My area has a lot of local issues - there's no hospital, no sport complex for kids, my manifesto talk about all that."

BJP candidates from the Greater Kailsah Ajay Malhotra's agenda is to scrap the debatable BRT (reports ibnlive.com), while Malviya Nagar candidate Aarti Mehra promised a new sewerage model by scrapping the old model.

Meanwhile, AAP blamed BJP for imitating their idea, saying,"They have copied our step. We are glad that at least they are learning something from us," said Manish Sisodia." However, there is something that the AAP did not do-asking for public opinion and suggestion online for a customised agenda.

Time will tell whether the parties can fulfil their promises with these truly innovative ideas.
