Delhi-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Train (22426) Timings, Schedule, Stops, Ticket Price & More
The recently introduced Ayodhya-Anand Vihar round-trip route began its commercial operations on January 4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the new Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar Terminal Delhi Vande Bharat Express train on December 30.
The new Vande Bharat Express train was flagged off at the Ayodhya Dham railway station by the Prime Minister.

"Both train numbers 22426 Anand Vihar Terminal-Ayodhya Cantt Vande Bharat Express and 22425 Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar Terminal will operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays," said Rekha Sharma, senior divisional commercial manager, NR, Lucknow Division, in a statement. She added that the train will run via Kanpur and Lucknow.
The Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat Express will offer a luxurious and world-class AC train travel option from the national capital to the sacred pilgrimage site of Ayodhya.
Timings:
The Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat Express (22426) will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi at 6:10 am, reaching Ayodhya Cantt station at 2:30 pm, with stops at Kanpur Central and Lucknow along the way, completing the journey in 8 hours and 20 minutes.
On the same day, it will leave Ayodhya Cantt station at 3:20 pm, arriving at Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:40 pm, covering the distance in 8 hours and 20 minutes.
The train is operational every day of the week except for Wednesdays.

Here are the rates per ticket:
- Kanpur Central to Ayodhya Rs 1440 (Executive Chaircar)
- Kanpur Central to Ayodhya Rs 835 (Chaircar)
- Kanpur Central to Anand Vihar Rs 2270 (Executive Chaircar)
- Kanpur Central to Ayodhya Rs 1250 (Chaircar)
However, the newly-launched Vande Bharat Express will remain cancelled from January 7 to 15 due to track doubling work on its route.
