Delhi Assembly Election 2025: PM Modi Attacks Aam Aadmi Party, Says Voters Will Drive 'AAP-da' Away On Feb 5

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Vikas Delhi Sankalp Rally in Dwarka, focusing on the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. He criticised the AAP government, labelling them as 'aapda', and accused them of engaging in constant disputes. Modi emphasised that Delhi requires a government capable of maintaining equilibrium and pledged that the BJP would ensure development in the capital.

Modi accused AAP of using funds from Delhi to serve political interests elsewhere. He stated, "People of Delhi have decided to drive away the AAP-da sarkar. This time BJP has to form the government with an overwhelming majority." He highlighted BJP's efforts to modernise Delhi, citing Yasobhoomi's construction in Dwarka, which has created jobs and boosted local businesses.

BJP's Vision for Development

He envisioned Dwarka as a future smart city, with Bharat Vandana Park being developed as a national model. Modi said, "The capital of developed India should be like this. Similar development should happen in the entire city of Delhi." The PM underscored the need for comprehensive urban development across Delhi.

Modi criticised AAP for their alleged dishonesty and hostility towards Haryana. He claimed they falsely blamed Haryana farmers for pollution issues and accused them of polluting the Yamuna River. According to him, AAP lacks integrity and resorts to deceitful tactics to support their claims.

Double Engine Government Proposal

The Prime Minister advocated for a 'double engine' government involving both central and state administrations. He urged voters to give him a chance to serve Delhi by forming such a government. Modi pointed out that both Congress and AAP have been detrimental to Delhi's progress over the years.

He reiterated BJP's commitment to modernising Delhi, referencing Yasobhoomi's impact on employment and business growth in Dwarka. Modi expressed confidence that this area would evolve into a smart city under BJP leadership.

AAP's Alleged Obstruction

Modi accused AAP of obstructing central government schemes over 11 years by engaging in conflicts with various states like Haryana and UP. He warned that if AAP continues its governance, Delhi would face stagnation and decline.

The Prime Minister announced plans to present a CAG report during the first Assembly session, which he claimed would expose AAP's scams. Modi observed growing public discontent towards AAP, accusing them of spreading false rumours while concealing their misdeeds.
