Delhi: 5 Aam Aadmi Party Councilors Join BJP
Delhi: In a big jolt to the Delhi-ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), 5 elected councilors on Sunday joined the BJP. According to the reports, Ram Chandra, Pawan Sehrawat, Manju Nirmal, Sughandha Bidhuri, and Mamta Pawan joined the BJP in the presence of senior state leaders namely Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva, Arvinder Singh Lovely, and others at the BJP headquarters.

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva welcomed all 5 councilors to the saffron umbrella stating all these leaders along with their followers have decided to join the BJP as they are impressed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's social policies and good work.
"They (MLCs) were suffocating in AAP. They were requesting for work in their areas, but they were reduced to being a medium to gather people. They also wanted to join the mainstream. They regard PM Modi's work important. They believe that the way work is being done in the entire country, should have also been done in Delhi. We welcome them. We will together work to make Delhi more beautiful," he added.
