"Delete Karo Warna Arrest Kar Lenge": Bihar Man Slapped, Abused by Police in Disturbing Video

A young man from Patna who went out for a simple motorcycle ride ended up documenting an encounter that he says turned violent and frightening. His recording and later testimony have drawn attention on social media, where he and his friend decided to share the full story after feeling that they were being pressured to stay silent.

Stop at Checkpoint Turns Hostile

Ishu, the rider seen in the widely circulated clips, was traveling along the six lane stretch in Patna when police personnel stopped him at a checkpoint. In the video, an officer can be heard saying, "Marenge tamacha khich ke." When Ishu halted, the officer asked him to remove his helmet, to which he politely responded, "Boliye na." The reply was followed by verbal abuse and repetition of the order.

While Ishu was seated and trying to comply, the officers reached toward the camera that had been mounted on his bike for recording his ride. He warned them saying, "Sir, ye tut jayega," but the video shows attempts to pull the device away. The recording then shifts to the biker standing while surrounded by shouting officers.

Rider Explains His Account on Camera

In a later segment, Ishu attempts to explain everything that happened. He said, "Ye jo abhi aap logo ne dekha, ye hai Patna six lane ka video. Kal hum log gaye the yaha par shoot ke liye aur yaha pe jitne bhi ye police wale hai, jinko abhi aapne dekha video mein jo kitne buri tarike se behave kara. Hum log kuch stunt wagera bhi nahi kar rahe the bas normal camera hath mein tha bas es wajah se hi ye log milke mare hai buri tarike se."

He appealed to viewers to share the video so others would not feel helpless if confronted in the same way. He added, "Aise jitne bhi police wale hai, in sabko milkar sabak seekhaya jaye nahi toh ye apni manmaani aise aage bhi karte rahenge. Aaj mere sath aisa hua hai, kal ko aap logo ke sath bhi aisa ho sakta hai."

Social Media Support and Alleged Threat Calls

His friend posted the clips on X and wrote, "Bihar Police officers were seen abusing and hitting my friend without any reason. This is a clear misuse of power. Immediate action & suspension required." He tagged the official accounts for visibility.

Shortly after the post gained traction, Ishu reportedly received phone calls urging him to remove the footage. He also shared an audio clip in which a caller asked, "Kahe wo video viral kiya babu?" Ishu responded, "Mere sath maar peet kiya, gali galoch kiya toh hum kya karte." The caller then said, "Jaldi delete karo nahi toh hum tumko arrest kar lenge."

According to Ishu, he refused to take it down since he believed it recorded unlawful treatment. The person on the call asked, "Hum logo ka izzat nahi rakega?" Ishu replied, "Utna galat kiye hai, itna gandi gandi gaali diye hai." The call continued with questions about possible jail time before ending with the line, "Ye galat bai hai, jao jail jao."

His friend posted one more statement saying they had proof in their possession and wrote, "Sir, my friend has received threats and we also have the recording as evidence... Sir, you have the last 24 hours to take action. If no action is taken, we will be forced to escalate this."

Response from Authorities

After the matter gained attention on X, Bihar Police notified Patna Traffic Police to verify the situation and proceed with required steps.

Patna Traffic Police later stated that the report had been forwarded to the appropriate officials and that further action would follow based on findings.
