PPC: Transforming Exam Stress into a Learning Festival
Since its inception in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a nationwide movement. The 8th edition in 2025 has witnessed an unprecedented surge in registrations, with 3.56 crore participants-an increase of 1.3 crore from the previous edition's 2.26 crore. This remarkable growth reflects the growing acceptance of PPC as a means to address exam-related stress and promote holistic education.
The aim of the initiative is to encourage them to view exams as an Utsav (festival). Thus helping them to develop a positive mindset.
Engaging Activities and Nationwide Participation
To further solidify PPC as a movement, a series of engaging activities were conducted from January 12, 2025 (National Youth Day) to January 25, 2025 (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti) at the school level. These activities engaged 1.42 crore students, 12.81 lakh teachers, and 2.94 lakh schools across States and Union Territories.
Students took part in traditional games like Kho-Kho and Kabaddi, short-distance marathons, creative meme competitions, Nukkad Natak performances, and poster-making events. Additionally, student testimonials, student-led discussions, yoga and meditation sessions, and interactive workshops with special guests were organized to enhance focus, reduce stress, and improve overall performance.
A Platform for Open Dialogue
PPC's interactive format allows students to engage in open discussions with PM Modi, making it an impactful initiative. Through practical tips and motivational insights, the program helps students tackle academic pressures with confidence.
