Decomposed body of fisherman washes ashore
Rameswaram (TN), Sep 6: The body of a 56-year-old fisherman, who was reported missing after his boat sank when he went fishing with two others a few days back, was found washed ashore off the Pamban coast today, Marine police said.
The decomposed body of Appavu, who was one of the three fishermen who had put out to sea from Devipattinam coastal hamlet in Ramanathapuram district on September 2, was retrieved and sent to Mandapam government hospital, they said.

While a group of fishermen managed to rescue Manikandan and Mohammed Ayub Khan and bring them to Mandapam shore after their boat capsized mid sea on September 3, Appavu could not be located.
