Deccan Chronicle chief Venkattram Reddy arrested by CBI
Bengaluru, Feb 14: T Venkattram Reddy, the chairman of Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd (DCHL), was arrested on Saturday, Feb 14, by the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) in a case relating to a banking fraud.
A CBI team of the Banking Security and Fraud Cell from Bangalore landed in Hyderabad this morning and questioned him before arresting him. He will be produced before the Magistrate later.

It is alleged that the DHCL and Reddy had taken loans from financial institutions and not paid it which led to them filing a complaint.
