Dawood stops responding to treatment after suffering massive heart attack
Dawood fled from India in the 1980s following a crackdown on the underworld in Mumbai. Since then he has been seen a lot in Dubai attending film parties and cricket matches.
Dawood Ibrahim has suffered a massive heart-attack and has stopped responding to his treatment. Sources suggest that he may have not survived. His Dawood Ibrahim may be dead. He had suffered a heart attack and was undergoing treatment in Karachi. While the don's men claim that he is fine, there are reports that he had suffered from a massive heart attack was very critical. Dawood's health was deteriorating since the past two years.

He has crippling gangrene in his legs. He was being treated at his home in the Clifton area of Karachi.Dawood's close aide Chhota Shakeel said that he is not dead.
Not responding to treatment:
He was admitted to the Aga Khan hospital in Karachi at around 7 pm on Friday night. Sources say that Dawood had complained about uneasiness while breathing at around 5 pm. At 5.30 pm his condition worsened and the doctors were called in. He was shifted to the hospital immediately where a specialised team of doctors began treating him.
However his condition is said to be very critical and he has not been responding to treatment. A specialised team of doctors were by his side.
High security zone:
The Aga Khan hospital is one of the bests in Pakistan. The entire zone witnessed high security and none were allowed into the hospital. The Aga Khan hospital is close to the Clifton area where Dawood lives in a palatial bungalow.
It is approximately a half an hour drive from his home. Dawood has visited the hospital several times in the past as he suffers from multiple ailments. The last time that Dawood was spotted was two weeks back on Friday. He was said to be looking frail.
Pakistan will not confirm:
Pakistan however will not confirm the news since it would amount to an admission that he is in that country. Pakistan has always maintained that he is not in the country despite India handing over proof of the same. Dawood was provided a safe hiding place in Karachi after the 1993 blasts. He runs his drug empire from Karachi and several articles about his presence in Pakistan have been reported.
He lives in the plush Clifton locality of Karachi in a house that spans over 6,000 square yards.
