Darjeeling rally: Mamata failed to bring about 'Parivartan', says Modi

The Gujarat chief minister sharply criticised Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress saying, the whole talk about bringing about 'parivartan' in West Bengal was a farce.
Modi also slammed the UPA and TMC government for failing to tackle the Naxal issue. "We need a strong government in Delhi. Help me erase Congress from this country", he said.
Modi also hailed tourism and tea industry of Darjeeling. "We will promote these two 'Ts", he said. Addressing the Gorkha community, which has been demanding a separate Gorkha state, Modi said, "Your dreams are ours too".
The poor development in the region is due to the vote bank politics of TMC, he said, adding that the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal has completely failed in keeping its promises.
Slamming the corrupt UPA government, Modi said, " The number of scams the UPA committed in 10 years shows their mentality". He further urged the voters to oust Congress from power. "Nation needs a strong government. You gave 60 years to Congress please give us 60 months", he said.
