Dance at your risk! Saudi man divorces wife for dancing

Qatar, Sept 10: In a shocking incident, a man divorced his wife immediately after seeing his wife dancing secretly to a music channel. In fact, he went a step further to sermon her by telling her that what she had done was an unforgivable betrayal.

The woman had 'dared' to watch her favorite channel, despite her husband's warning and advise that she should stick to spiritual channels that he liked. The woman had waited for her husband to go out before she switched to her favorite channel and started swaying in front of the TV set.

"As she was dancing, her husband returned home but she did not hear him coming as the music was loud. He immediately divorced her despite her pleas," a local paper said. He also told her that what she did was an unforgivable marital betrayal and that she violated his instruction
