Customised poll propaganda van ready for DMK chief Karunanidhi

Chennai, Mar 31: A customised van for use in election propaganda for DMK chief Karunanidhi arrived here on Wednesday at party headquarters.

A 'Force' traveller type of van, it is complete with public address system, flash lights and has facility for the occupant to move in a wheel-chair. [DMK chief Karunanidhi to contest from Tiruvarur]

Customised by a private vehicle fabrication firm based in Coimbatore, it also has amenities for taking rest in the vehicle like a caravan class van and DMK treasurer and Karunanidhi's son, M K Stalin, inspected it along with senior party colleagues.

The 92-year-old Karunanidhi is expected to kickstart his election campaign after seat sharing is completed with allies and following finalisation of candidates by his party and other electoral partners.
