The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the objection window for the provisional Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 answer key today, January 5, at 11:59 PM. Candidates who believe there are errors or discrepancies in the answer key must submit their objections on the official website, ctet.nic.in, before the deadline.
To challenge the answer key, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 for each question. If the Board finds the challenge valid, the fee will be refunded to the candidate's credit or debit card account. It is important to note that the Board's decision regarding the challenges will be final, and no further correspondence will be considered.
Steps To Raise Objections for CTET 2024 Answer Key
Follow these steps to challenge the CTET provisional answer key:
1. Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the "CTET Answer Key Challenge" link available on the homepage.
3. Log in using your roll number, date of birth, and any other required details.
4. Review the provisional answer key and select the questions to challenge.
5. Upload relevant supporting documents for each challenge and pay the required fee.
6. Submit your objections and save or print the acknowledgment for future reference.
The official notice from CBSE states:
"There is a provision for the candidates to challenge the answer keys through the link available on the website ctet.nic.in from 01/01/2025 to 05/01/2025 (up to 11:59 PM). A fee of Rs 1,000 per question is required to be submitted through credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable."
