CTET Admit Card 2024: Check Tentative Release Dates And Exam Details
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the admit cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in December 2024, according to a Times Now report. The exam is scheduled to take place on December 14 across multiple cities in India. Ahead of this, CBSE will issue a city intimation slip to assist candidates in preparing for the examination.
Initially, the CTET was planned for December 1, but it was postponed to December 15 following requests from candidates. The date was later revised to December 14. In cities with a high number of applicants, the exam may also be conducted on December 15.

CBSE is expected to release the city intimation slip around December 4, approximately ten days before the exam. Admit cards are likely to be issued by December 10, four days before the test. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website ctet.nic.in for updates regarding the examination.
The CTET examination assesses the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in central government schools, such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. It includes two papers:
Paper 1 is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5.
Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8.
CTET certification now comes with lifetime validity, making it a significant milestone for aspiring teachers. Apart from central government schools, many private and state government schools also accept CTET as a valid qualification for teaching roles.
Candidates should stay informed by visiting the official website and ensure they download their admit cards as soon as they are released.
