CSEET 2024: Exam Format, Eligibility, And More – Everything You Need To Know
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will close the registration window for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) January session on December 15, according to the NDTV report. Candidates who are interested in taking the exam can visit the official ICSI website for full details.
CSEET 2024: Exam Format

The CSEET will assess students on four subjects: Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. The exam will be conducted in Remote Proctored Mode, allowing students to take the test online from anywhere across India.
To pass, candidates must score an aggregate of 50 per cent with at least 40 per cent in each paper. There will be no negative marking in the exam. The ICSI has also made it clear that calculators, pens, pencils, paper, or notebooks are not allowed during the CSEET.
CSEET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Students who have passed Class 12 or are currently appearing for their Class 12 exams are eligible to register for the CSEET.
Candidates who are exempt from the CSEET include:
1. Students who have completed the foundation level of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India
2. Final pass candidates from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
3. Final pass candidates from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India
4. Graduates with a minimum of 50 per cent marks
5. Postgraduates
These candidates can directly enrol in the CS Executive Programme without having to take the CSEET.
The CSEET is conducted four times a year in January, May, July, and November.
