UP: CRPF jawan, journalist booked for objectionable Whatsapp post
Bahraich (UP), Jun 25: A CRPF jawan and a journalist have been booked for posting objectionable comments on a social media group, a senior officer said here today. Superintendent of Police Salikram Verma said a local journalist Alok Pathak had created a group 'Nyaya ka Prahari' on Whatsapp in which a number of people were made members.
He said the CRPF jawan, a member of the group, has posted an objectionable content against a particular community.

"Taking suo moto cognisance of the post, an FIR was yesterday registered against the member and group admin Pathak," he said.
The group 'administrator' was quizzed in this connection. All group admins have been requested to immediately remove members who post such objectionable comments, from their groups, the SP added.
