Crime Patrol actor Kamlesh Pandey commits suicide

Kamlesh used to be cast in the role of a police inspector is Sony channel’s well-known show Crime Patrol.

New Delhi, Dec 14: Television actor Kamlesh Pandey, who had played a role of police officer in a popular show on Sony channel Crime Patrol, committed suicide on Tuesday night in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

TV reports say that he was upset with his sister-in-law Anjana Chaturvedi, who didn't invite him for her daughter's wedding. Reportedly upset over this, he got drunk and got into an altercation with his family members. He then pulled out a revolver, fired in the air and then shot himself in the chest. The terrified family members called up the police and an ambulance. By the time the cops arrived, he was dead.

Kamlesh is survived by his wife and two daughters. However, no official statement was given by his wife or any other member of his family.

A case of suicide has been registered by the police and investigations are underway.
