CPI(M)'s Mishra questions Mamata's spending on chopper rides
Suri (WB), April 12: CPI(M) state secretary Surjya Kanta Mishra on Tuesday questioned the source of funds which enables Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee take helicopter rides for election campaign throughout the state.
"Wherever I am going for the election, she is also going for campaigning. But where is the money coming from to finance the helicopter rides? Who is giving the money? She doesn't undertake road trips but only chopper rides," Mishra said at an election rally here.

Referring to yesterday's poll violence, Mishra said Trinamool Congress is afraid of the Congress-Left Front alliance and that is why "terror tactics" is being used to terrorise the voters.
"They are afraid of people's alliance and that is why voters are being terrorised on the day of polls. After May 19, Mamata Banerjee will be known as former Chief Minister.
They can't defeat the people's mandate, which is against them," Mishra said.
