BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gujar Claims 50,000 Cows Slaughtered Daily in Uttar Pradesh Amid Government Silence
Bhartiya Janata Party MLA Nand Kishore Gujar has made serious allegations against the Yogi Adityanath government. He claimed that approximately 50,000 cows are being slaughtered daily in Uttar Pradesh. "Under our government, 50,000 cows are being slaughtered every day. These officers are eating into the money meant for the welfare of cows. This means there is loot everywhere," Gujar stated to reporters.

Gujar expressed concern that his appeals are being ignored, suggesting it might be at the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He highlighted a video showing two head constables caught extorting money in Loni as evidence of corruption. He believes addressing these issues could lead the BJP to secure up to 375 seats in the next assembly elections.
Corruption Allegations and Political Tensions
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav shared part of Gujar's video on X, commenting on internal conflicts within the BJP. "The officers are baking their bread in the fire of this friction. The reason for this fight is the earnings from corruption, which everyone wants to monopolise," Yadav remarked, pointing out how public interests are being compromised.
The allegations surfaced shortly after Technical Education Minister Ashish Patel claimed he was threatened by the Special Task Force (STF) of UP Police. Patel faces accusations from Pallavi Patel, a Samajwadi Party MLA from Sirathu, regarding corruption in appointing department heads in the Technical Education department.
Political Repercussions and Accusations
Ashish Patel dismissed the corruption charges as part of a larger conspiracy against him. He asserted his intention to remain in office unless removed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi or forced to resign. Meanwhile, Gujar warned that if no action is taken against corrupt officials, many BJP candidates might lose their deposits in future elections.
The situation highlights growing tensions within political circles in Uttar Pradesh. Allegations of corruption and internal disputes are becoming increasingly public, affecting both governance and party dynamics. The claims have sparked discussions about accountability and transparency within the state's administration.
The unfolding events underscore the challenges faced by political leaders in maintaining integrity and public trust. As accusations continue to surface, there is mounting pressure on authorities to address these issues effectively and restore confidence among constituents.
