Court pulls up CBI for not placing documents in LTC scam
New Delhi, Jan 5: A Delhi court has pulled up CBI for not placing before it documents related to the LTC scam in which names of some former MPs had cropped up saying "callous attitude" of its officers needs to be brought into the notice of the agency's director.

"Callous attitude of officers concerned of investigating agency needs to be brought to the notice of CBI director," special CBI judge GP Singh said and fixed the matter for further proceedings on January 7.
"Therefore, copy of this order be given to pairvi officer ...to be delivered in the office of director of CBI for information and necessary action at his end for doing all what is expected by the court from the officers concerned of investigating agency to be done at the time of filing of the charge sheet and assistance to the court," the court said.
It observed that the documents have neither been filed nor brought before it for consideration and even CBI investigating officer (IO) or Superintendent of Police concerned have not appeared in the court to furnish these documents.
The case was registered by CBI on June 12 last year on the allegations that from 2011 to 2013, Brajesh Pathak, the then MP of Rajya Sabha had allegedly conspired with unknown private persons and had claimed wrongly inflated reimbursement for eight companion tickets amounting to Rs 2,19,887 from the Pay and Accounts Office of Rajya Sabha Secretariat.
