''There'll be no questions and answers only bail bond has to be submitted. It is not essential for the convict to be present,'' said the lawyer.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court had in January acquitted the the actor after giving him the benefit of doubt in the 18-year-old case. But the state government appealed against his acquittal in March.
On July 6, the court had exempted Salman Khan from appearing in person.
The charges against Salman Khan were that he had illegally used his weapons to kill two black buck deer in a village close to Jodhpur in 1998 while he was shooting for the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. He was charged for possessing an unlicensed .22 rifle and a .32 revolver and using them to poach two black bucks at Jodhpur's Konkani village.
