Couple roughed up in police station over personal argument

Mumbai, Nov 4: In a horrifying incident in Mumbai's Andheri police station, a couple was brutally roughed up by the Mumbai police for a personal argument between the couple.

A video went viral on social media showing Mumbai cops abusing and thrashing the couple while the girl is screaming for mercy.

The boy and the girl are said to be working at Mahindra call center and are said to be a couple. POlice said that they were having a fight on the road which is when they were picked up for the police station where they continued to fight. It further defended saying that they were trying to separate the couple. The video, meanwhile revealed something else. While the male cops were beating up the guy brutally, the women cops were seen slapping the girl several times. All this, while hurling abuses at the couple.

Zonal DCP Vinayak Deshmukh said that he knew about the video and would take action against the guilty cops. But action is still awaited.
