Corporate espionage: CBI steps in, raids various ministries
New Delhi, Mar 12: The Central Bureau of Investigation has recovered Rs 60 lakh following raids at various places in connection with the corporate espionage case. The offices of several private firms and ministries were raided following which the money was recovered.

The CBI is conducting an independent investigation into the corporate scam. The Delhi police on the other hand is probing the leak of documents from the petroleum ministry.
Raids in several ministries:
The CBI is conducting raids simultaneously at different ministries. It had got information about sensitive documents being leaked out of various ministries including the petroleum ministry.
The CBI also conducted raids across Delhi and seized documents alleged to be leaked from private firms too. CBI officials say that this probe is not parallel to the one being conducted by the Delhi police. It is an independent one they say.
The CBI says more documents will be seized and it has been found that cash believed to be exchanged in connection with this scam were parked in some offices in Delhi.
