The ANI also posted a few photos of the burnt parts recovered by the investigating officers.

In a major security breach, two men - Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D - had jumped into the Lok Sabha's chamber from the public gallery during Zero Hour on Wednesday, released yellow smoke from canisters and shouted slogans, before being overpowered by the MPs.

Around the same time, two others - Amol Shinde and Neelam Devi - released coloured smoke from canisters while shouting "tanashahi nahi chalegi" outside the Parliament premises.

The Delhi Police have arrested six people in connection with the incident. They are identified as Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D, Amol Shinde, Neelam Devi, Mahesh Kumawat and Lalit Jha.

Lalit Jha had destroyed the phones of all the accused in Rajasthan before surrendering, sources had told the PTI earlier. The investigation team had written a letter to the cellular company seeking information about Lalit.

Ahead of the incident, the accused handed over their mobile phones to Jha so that crucial investigation details could not get into police hands as they were anticipating their arrest.

Manoranjan D, who is an engineering graduate from Mysuru, got the authorisation pass to enter Lok Sabha from the office of BJP MP Pratap Simha and introduced Sagar Sharma, who hails from Uttar Pradesh and worked as an e-rickshaw driver, as a friend.

25-year-old Shinde hails from Zari village in Maharashtra's Latur district. He is a BA graduate belonging to a Scheduled Caste community. Hailing from Hisar in Haryana, Neelam Azad has an M.Phil degree and has successfully passed the National Eligibility Test. Lalit Jha, believed to be the mastermind behind the Parliament smoke incident, is from Kolkata. He worked as a teacher.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the common thread among them is that they are all members of a social media page called the 'Bhagat Singh Fan Club' and they have known each other through social media for four years.
