‘Calm Your Thoughts’: Nushrratt Bharuccha Breaks Silence on Viral RCB IPL Win Video Controversy

Recently, actor Nushrratt Bharuccha's video went viral for unexpected reasons. She has finally addressed the controversy surrounding an Instagram Story. The video showed celebrations from the IPL 2026 final as Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the trophy. The clip immediately went viral after some social media users claimed they heard unusual sounds in the background.

Various theories emerged following the widespread speculation. The controversy fuelled curiosity and debate among netizens. On Wednesday, Nushrratt was approached by photographers during a public appearance. However, she chose not to comment on the matter.

The actress has now broken her silence and set the record straight through a series of Instagram Stories. She shared a video from the house where she was watching the match that night and explained that the sounds in question were made by a puppy present there.

"This is the house where I was watching the match. This is the puppy. This is a video from that very night, taken a little later," she wrote alongside the clip.

Addressing the online chatter, she further added, "Fearing exactly what has happened, I was advised to delete that video, and I did. People, calm your wild thoughts down! Owning a mobile phone doesn't empower harassment. Do not misinterpret or follow blindly. Think and act responsibly!"

The actress also dismissed a screenshot that had been widely shared online as her supposed clarification. She called it fake and warned followers against believing every rumour spread online.
