Controversies haunt Bihar: State Govt's India map doesn't show J&K and Arunachal as part of country

Patna, Nov 18: After Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's series of recent controversies, another blunder has come to light. According to reports, in a map of India, the State Government hasn't shown Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir as part of the country.

In a map related with Patna's master plan 2031, the Jammu and Kashmir has been shown as part of the Pakistan. Even Arunachal Pradesh for which India keeps on flexing muscle with China, was also disappeared in the map.

Manjhi

This has come to fore days after similar mistake was done by Australian authorities while Indian Prime Minister was on his visit to the country. and After India registered strong protest, they apologized for the same.

"India's Foreign Secretary raised the issue strongly and received an unqualified apology," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said, responding to a question whether the issue was raised after it was noticed that Kashmir was missing from the Indian map displayed by the organisers.

But, in present case no action has been taken, either from State or Central government side. Big shocking thing is that this err was made in spite of repeated improvisation in the map.
