Mumbai, Aug 14: Radhe Maa finally revealed the secret behind her controversial red hot mini skirt which brought her to face criticism. The self-proclaimed godwoman now claimed that the dress was a gift from one of her devotees.

During an interview with Times of India, Radhe Maa on Thursday, Aug 13 said that her devotees urged her to wear the dress during one of her tours with her followers.

The report quoted Radhe Maa as saying that it was one of her devotees who had applied make up on the day when she wore that red hot mini skirt.

During the interview, Radhe Maa was in "deep meditation". She did not speak to the reporter directly, instead she replied to all queries through her interlocutors.

The self-styled godwoman was quoted as saying, "...who told you sadhus and sadhvis have to dress in a particular manner? I listen to my bhakts and if they are happy I am happy."

Lashing out at the media, Radhe Maa also asserted that it was media who posted her photo on social media. She also accused some unknown person(s) of trying to malign her image in front of her devotees.

Radhe Maa also said that she does not know who is Nikki Gupta, who recently filed dowry harassment case against her.

Nikki Gupta filed the case against her in-laws, husband. She in her police complaint claimed that she had already given jewellery worth Rs 102 crore to her in-laws. However, Radhe Maa allegedly instigated her in-laws for harassing Nikki Gupta for more dowry.
