Controversial Godman Swami Om arrested

The inter-state cell of crime branch on Wednesday arrested the controversial self-proclaimed godman from Bhajanpura, ahead of Big Boss finale.

According to some reports, Swami Om has been detained on the grounds of preventive measures taken by Lonavala police officials and will be released only after the shoot of the grand finale is over today.

He was earlier declared as a proclaimed offender by a Delhi court. Last year, the court issued non-bailable warrant against Swami Om for allegedly breaking and entering a cycle shop owned by his brother Pramod Jha.

He was accused of stealing 11 bicycles, a few spare parts and the sale deed of Jha's house.

The controversial self-proclaimed godman became popular during his appearance in Bigg Boss season 10.
