Controversial Bigg Boss contestant Aseem Trivedi to fight for Kejriwal

Trivedi, who also had participated in TV reality show Bigg Boss 6 in 2012, was arrested as he allegedly had insulted Indian Constitution. He was charged with sedition, however, later the charges were dropped against him. [Read: Aseem Trivedi: Cartoonist turned crusader]
According to sources, Trivedi might contest the poll from Kanpur Lok Sabha constituency against Congress' Sriprakash Jaiswal and Samajwadi Party's candidate Raju Srivastava. [See: 8 'seditious' cartoons for which Aseem Trivedi was arrested]

Here it can be mentioned that Jaiswal has been elected three times as an MP from Kanpur's Parliamentary constituency. Currently, he holds the coal portfolio.
Speaking about his planning of contesting the poll, Trivedi has been quoted as saying, "Yes, talks are on with the AAP leaders pertaining to Lok Sabha ticket from Kanpur. I am ready to contest against Sriprakash Jaiswal if AAP offers me ticket. Let's see."
Trivedia was one of the crucial members of Team Anna. He supported the Gandhian crusader when he had sat on a indefinite fast demanding Jan Lokpal Bill in 2012.
After his arrest, Trivedi had claimed that he had become a political conspiracy for supporting Anna. Tremendous protests were carried out by young people who had held demonstrations against Mumbai Police for arresting Trivedi.
