Congress vs BJP Over New Parliament Building Inauguration

The BJP accused the Congress on Monday of deliberately stirring up unnecessary controversy surrounding the inauguration of the new Parliament building. The BJP criticized the Congress for engaging in cheap politics and undermining the country's achievements for their own selfish interests.

Anil Baluni, the BJP chief spokesperson, stated that Congress leaders consistently resort to cheap politics whenever something positive occurs. He attributed this behavior to the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, stating that the Congress has stooped to a new low when the nation should be proud of the construction of the new Parliament building.

Congress vs BJP Over New Parliament Building Inauguration

The Congress had accused the government of disregarding constitutional propriety and demanded that President Droupadi Murmu inaugurate the building instead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, a senior BJP leader claimed that even Murmu preferred Modi to inaugurate the new building, which is scheduled for May 28.

Baluni criticized the Congress for its negative and defeatist mindset, which he believed was a result of Rahul Gandhi's anarchist politics. He argued that the comments made by Congress leaders reflected their tendency to repeatedly undermine national morale.

While the construction of the new Parliament building is seen as a proud moment for the country, Baluni accused the Congress of being a spoilsport and unable to accept the rejection they have faced from the people. He emphasized that the new building symbolizes Indian democracy and should be celebrated by all Indians.
