Congress used terrorists to defeat ‘one man’ says Jaitley in Gujarat

Jaitley further said that the Congress is trying to divide the society in Gujarat on caste lines and this was not in the interest of the country.

The Congress used groups like the Lashkar-e-Tayiba to defeat one man, Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley said.

Jaitley who is also in-charge of the Gujarat campaign said that, "it would be clear that it fought three state elections against one person (Narendra Modi) using the CBI and government machinery, Lashkar-e-Tayiba and terror groups.

This time it is stranger that it is ridiculing development and laughing at it... Nowhere in the world has a party been seen ridiculing development, laughing at it."

Jaitley further said that the Congress is trying to divide the society in Gujarat on caste lines and this was not in the interest of the country. "Against this," Jaitley said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his successors in the state are pursuing an agenda with sharp focus on all-inclusive development... We will see one more big victory in Gujarat."
