Congress should introspect rather than make wild allegations: Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi
New Delhi, Aug 12: Government today hit back at Congress for repeatedly causing disruptions in Parliament and asked the opposition party to introspect rather than make wild allegations as it was stalling the country's growth.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi attacked Congress for its charge that government was using corporates for hitting out at them and said the common people also want what corporates are saying.

"The entire public of the country is upset with frequent disruptions caused by the Congress. Congress is stalling the growth and development of country, which is directly related to the poor and common people of the country.
"It is high time the opposition looks within and introspects rather than shooting the messenger and putting bizarre allegations against the government," he said.
The Minister assured the people of the country that it will not allow any "vested interests" to stall the growth and development of the country to be stalled through such disruptions.
"We want to assure the people of the country that nobody can stop the fast growing development process of country under the leadership of Narendra Modi. This temporary disruption will not affect the long term process of bringing permanent growth.
Our party is committed for development as well as reforms and welfare of the common man," he said.
Earlier in the day, Congress and other parties including JD-U and CPI-M attacked the government for "using" corporates and businessmen to attack the opposition for causing disruptions in Parliament and not allowing the legislations to take place.
