Earlier this month, Congress released its first list of 21 candidates. This included ex-MP Sandeep Dikshit for New Delhi, setting up a contest with AAP's Arvind Kejriwal. Other notable candidates include Delhi chief Devender Yadav from Badli and ex-minister Haroon Yusuf from Ballimaran.

Congress's Determination in Delhi

Ex-Delhi Congress chief Chaudhary Anil Kumar will contest Patparganj, while national spokesperson Ragini Nayak is fielded from Wazirpur. Adarsh Shastri is nominated for Dwarka. The party aims to present a formidable challenge across all constituencies.

Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin stated that all 70 seats are crucial for Congress. "We will try to fight strongly on all seats," he said when asked about prominent constituencies in Delhi.

The upcoming elections are crucial for Congress as they seek to regain influence in the capital city. The party's comprehensive candidate list reflects its commitment to a strong electoral battle against AAP.
