Congress Unveils First List of 9 Candidates for J&K Assembly Polls

The Congress party has released its initial list of nine candidates for the upcoming three-phase assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Ghulam Ahmad Mir, the party's general secretary, will contest from Dooru, and former state unit chief Vikar Rasool Wani will run from Banihal. Other candidates include Surinder Singh Channi from Tral, Amanullah Mantoo from Devsar, Peerzada Mohammad Syed from Anantnag, Shaikh Zafarullah from Inderwal, Nadeem Sharief from Bhadarwah, Sheikh Riyaz from Doda, and Pradeep Kumar Bhagat from Doda West.
