Congress MLA Ambareesh skips assembly session, seen dancing in movie function
Known for regular absence in assembly sessions, Karnataka Congress MLA Ambareesh has yet again courted controversy by skipping the Belgavi Assembly session in Belgavi. He was seen dancing at a music launch in Bengaluru as he skipped the session on Tuesday.
A video of him dancing at the music launch is going viral.
However, Karnataka Congress Working President, Dinesh Gundurao, said this shouldn't be taken too seriously as he is a "different kind of politician".
"Even as Union Minister he didn't attend minister's office because of his own reasons, Mandya-Kaveri issue and all," Gundurao told ANI.
Ambareesh has just four days of attendance in 218 days of 14 sessions. A complaint was also lodged with the Speaker against him for his regular absence.
